Our definition of success is a staff of talented people that feel fulfilled. Period. At Pionaire you are not just another show on a huge network. You’re not a product that lives solely for the bottom line of a company. We’ve built a small army of like-minded, creative thinkers and performers to make the kind of programming experience that allows you to be the most inspired version of yourself.
We understand the challenges, struggles, and uniqueness of being a creative. Because, well, we’ve experienced them too. So we roll up our sleeves. Work together. And provide you with custom solutions to maximize your message, grow your voice and achieve your definition of success.
A loyal audience is built on content and delivery. That’s where it all starts and that’s where we shine. That’s our currency. And we know how to market that content better than anybody.
We all have something important to say. We get more people to hear it.

Working with us is different.

I’m Bert Weiss.
CEO & President
Here’s the short version: I’ve worked at every level in broadcasting. I started as a teen research assistant. Snuck my way onto the radio. I’ve been a phone screener. I’ve been a producer. I’ve been an executive producer. I’ve been a barely-heard sidekick, a co-host and, now, the proud host of (what I consider) the most fun, diverse, personality-driven, syndicated morning show in the country: The Bert Show.
It’s downright intoxicating to be heard, to have a strong opinion, to have a unique voice. There’s nothing more satisfying than believing in yourself, starting from scratch and having an audience respect you and grow with you.
The elements of a great podcast are no different than what made my syndicated morning radio show successful for over 20 years and in the top 5 most downloaded radio podcasts in the country. We get over 3.7 million downloads a month. That success was built on content and delivery and highly effective marketing. Period.
Every step along the way, I’ve constructed and programmed personality driven morning shows. The kind of programming experience that gives you security and allows you to be the most creative, unique voice you can be. Working with me is different because I understand the challenges, the struggles and the uniqueness of being creative and a performer.
I’m taking the best experiences I’ve had in my career and building a family of fun, uniquely creative, free thinking, hard working talent that I can cheer for as your success grows. I want to be inspired and fulfilled and I want that for every person at Pionaire.

I manipulated my way into getting a live shift on a radio station two decades ago and I still remember the thrill of being behind that live mic for the first time. It’s downright intoxicating to be heard, to have a strong opinion, to have a unique voice. There’s nothing more satisfying than believing in yourself, starting from scratch and having an audience respect you and grow with you.

We get over 3.7 million downloads a month. That success was built on content and delivery. Period. I was inducted into the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame in 2020.

I’ve built a successful and loyal radio and podcasting audience by being focused on delivery and content. Period. That’s my talent. That’s my focus. We’re the only network that provides a (literal) Hall of Fame talent consulting our talent.

Chris Tuff
Co-Founder & Head of Marketing and Monetization
I fell into internet marketing after graduating from Vanderbilt in 2003. I had one of the first viral videos of my engagement to my wife in 2006 landing me on the front page of the Wall Street Journal and was one of the first marketers to work directly with Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg around the same time. I then went on to grow the social media and digital content practice at 22squared in 2008 and helped grow that into one of the largest growth and profit centers for the firm whilst becoming one of the youngest partners in our 100 year history. In 2019, I published my national bestselling book “The Millennial Whisperer,” landing me at companies like Nike but also teaching me how to scale impact. It was soon after this book success that Bert and I were sitting at a bar talking about his future where Pionaire was unlocked.

Amy Howard
COO/Chief Operations Officer
I’m Amy Howard and I handle everything Operations related – I’m detail-oriented and am an expert in adapting to fast-paced, growing environments.
I started off my career modeling for brands like JCPenney and Bloomingdale’s, then transitioned into event management, handling over $1 million annually in sales. After 20 years in the hospitality industry, I converted those skills into Executive Assistant and Business Management roles in an industry in which I had no prior knowledge. Over the years, I’ve become a specialist in the management side of the radio and podcasting industries and I’ve had a ton of fun doing it.
I love watching and going to sports events (I’m a diehard FSU Football fan!), reading thrillers and historical fiction, and when I’m not working, you can find me traveling anywhere that includes a beach (tiki bars are always a plus!)
I’m excited to be a part of Pionaire from the ground up and bring my expertise and perspective from both the talent and management sides of the business not only to the team, but to your podcast, too.

Cassie Young
Executive Vice President, Digital & Marketing
I’ve been in radio for most of my career, the podcasting space for half of it, and digital is my big specialty.
When it comes to the radio and podcasting industries, I’ve worked both behind the scenes as well as on the mic, so I understand everything from creating content and producing to audio editing, marketing and the technical side of things. I’ve gone viral a few times (for shutting down a rude personal trainer and dancing to Britney – yup, love me some Britney Spears), and was named one of Emory University’s 40 Under 40.
I’m a creative at heart – I’m also a photographer who loves music and books. I love Cajun food, own way too much striped clothing, care a ridiculous amount about environmental issues and love being outside – either on the water somewhere, biking, or hiking down some hidden trail.
I’m a big believer in that you really can use your voice for good, whether that looks like entertaining people, sharing ideas, or creating change, and I’m super excited to help make your vision for your podcast come to fruition.

Brittany Bernado
Senior Director, Podcast Sales & Strategy
I’m a North Carolina native living in Los Angeles with 15 years of experience in marketing, media, and entertainment. My background spans selling ads alongside incredible local journalism to building a major media company’s podcast division from scratch to brokering multi-million-dollar deals between top-tier brands and household names in the entertainment industry.
A nerd when it comes to business and pop culture, I love riffing about great ads, the streaming wars, and the potential for a Spice Girls reunion. My passions include listening to hip hop and podcasts, playing basketball, and mid-century modern architecture/design. I spend my spare time with my wife and daughter at the beach or park, visiting with family and friends, building/redoing furniture, traveling, and watching space documentaries or sports.

Jared Rosenberg
Director of Advertising Operations and Business Development
After starting my career, in radio, on the air: behind the mic, on the music scene, and in content production across New York; I gravitated toward marketing and moved further South, to Atlanta. I developed a passion for helping small and large brands achieve their goals and reach far beyond them. And so, I joined the Pionaire Podcasting team in 2022 for a breath of fresh air and to further change and develop how we deliver inclusive, responsive, and unique messages to all listeners and fans. Truly helping individuals connect and grow their businesses on a deeper level.
I have always had an immense passion for creative audio platforms; whether it be music, talk, or advertising – as long as it’s original – I’m in! All-around satisfaction, goal implementation, and a passion for knowledge are what drives me and that’s why I will always love, and truly believe in, the intimate nature of content creation and influencer-led strategy!
At Pionarie Podcasting this all comes together and it’s what sets us apart. No one here is in the business of being in business – we’re family. Connecting with me and our team means: delivering results and getting into the weeds to make things happen on a deeper level. You can trust us to get the job done right the first time and to go above and beyond the typical at-work relationship.
A little more about me, before I started in radio I worked as a chef. For nearly 8 years I worked on everything food – still a true passion of mine! I spent 10 years, around the same time, as a downhill ski instructor and a Boy Scout leader. And, to this day, I host trivia in Atlanta. I still love to cook, ski, hike, bike, camp, take the occasional week-long road trip, and just about everything else you can do outdoors – during COVID I even took up golfing. Connect with me some time and I would love to chat about your passions and get to know you just like (I hope) this helped get you acquainted with me!

Rebecca Lancaster
Director of Talent Acquisition & Social Media Producer
Hey y’all! I’m Rebecca. I handle talent scouting, looking for great podcast talent to join our Pionaire Network. I’m also the Social Media Producer assisting Cassie with all forms of Digital Media.
When I’m not posting clips of the show or replying to your comments, you can catch me watching Jeopardy with my family, or at the theater weekly (comes with the territory of being a film major) or maybe even at a local drag show! As a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design my passion has always been creating topical and engaging content. And yes, sometimes that includes 30 Rock GIFs.
